I moved to Vegas on my 21st birthday with about $1,000 to my name and stayed at this super ghetto place called Harbor Island Apartments. It's right next to the Hard Rock on East Harmon, and right down the street from where Tupac got shot. Rent was $100/week back then. It looks like they have raised their prices to about $200/week now. The place was super sketchy and seedy. I definitely don't recommend it, but it's there if you need a place to crash and don't mind sharing your place with a bunch of roaches. I stayed there for about a month before I had enough $$$ to move to a nice apartment. Good luck bro!
