Backing the Nats for a few reasons.

I've been watching them lately I love the way they've been playing.
    Timely pitching, hitting, everything.
Riding a three game win streak and winners of 8 of their last ten.

Nationals crush left handed pitching, Cubs start LHP Quintana, no meatball by any stretch, but I can't ignore the fact the Nats are top three in hitting versus LHP .282/.356/.820 and depending on what metrics you use you can argue the best hitting LHP team in the league.

Joe Ross starts for Washington, don't love him, don't hate him, and the Cubs have demonstrated they can hit Ross in the past, I have to mention that, but at +150 on the red hot team, a team that smashes lefties is value in my book.

I'm looking at the total (9 runs) I'm leaning over however the wind is pushing in from right field towards third base.
Heard an interesting fact that the wind only blows out at Wrigley only about 30 percent of the time.
I also heard an interesting fact that the Cubs are 35 and 15 when the wind is blowing in or across.
I'll keep those facts in my hip pocket and still back the Nats here. They are hot.

For those keeping score at home and I know you are I've been treading water all season, pretty much even this year, but I've won 5 out of my last 7.

You pal Nasher's got 50 to win 75 here on the Nationals.

Good write up... thanks for being honest about your bet size.

Personally I have 25/37.50 on this

Jose Q has been on fire this month. when taking that into consideration & the fact that the Cubs got embarrassed yesterday, its hard to find value with Nats. even though the line at +160 is a little bit inflated.

      good luck Steve.

        Thanks fellas.
Can't fade the Nats is the way I see it.
Been wrong before, and I'll be wrong again but like I mentioned I like the price.
