#37KVB this guys note taking is just copying and pasting odds.
there is no shame using a notebook. I still do so myself. however, if I can look at a screen and analyze certain data then I dont need to write that stuff down. its 2019. thats just inefficient.
my notebook could tell you who's best friends in the league. guys personality type. who goes hard in the paint and who backs down.
this shit right here though? trash. dont come flexing hard because you can copy and paste. absolutely pitiful. fukk this guy.Comment -

#38Sometimes the notebooks can be good.
From a psychological and learning perspective, one is far more likely to learn and remember that which he processes and then writes down.
It helps even further when he can look back on what was written, remember the circumstances (even if with written notes) and use that to process the current rotation.
If you scrape or automate some of that data, then all you can do is look at them after they've been gathered, missing a lot of conscious and subconscious input.
The trick is to keep the notebook for the current situations and markets and then be able to input that notebook information for a broader perspective.
Never underestimate the power of collecting thoughts and writing them down.
To that end, Sweep is miles ahead of many who really don't understand what it takes to beat the markets both mathematically and subjectively; and with confidence.
I have a couple that simply dedicated to anytime I find angle/situation I wanna remember I write down so I can reference back to it.
Have a full one dedicated to just umpires (I give them each a individual page so I can add over time), lot of the stuff I can get on net w few clicks now but a good deal of them have my opinion of their k-zone as in whether I notice they calling low or high strikes, whether they call the one a few inches off the plate, etc etc., incredibly helpful to know combined W understanding what a particular pitcher throws to have success!! This why I’m so torn on the subject of electronic k-zone. Watching a game it be nice to have them get balls/strikes correct since we all can see what it clearly is, at same time it would take something I feel often gives me a edge away!! Who wants that?? I’ll def be sad the day that notebook is worthless! Lol.Comment -

But I think you're getting why I give sweep both props for the notebook (or the idea of it) and critcize him for the cliche post about betting TV games and shit...one doesn't need to be very high up on the pole to know those pitfalls.Comment -

#40The key to a successful notebook is what stickers you put on the front.
I personally prefer a 3 ring binder.

Over the years I have picked up things that help me eliminate bunch of games without havin to take the time to cap. I’m sure that occationally I skip over a game I might have liked but whatever, just don’t have the time to cap them all the way I go about it. Lol.Comment -

Wife came home with a dozen spiral notebooks, wide ruled.
I went on the roof and through them down to the street. Wide rule will not work with the way I organize some leagues.
There is no adapting.

Sweep started this thread and posted the play in this thread and you start a thread with a preseason "lock" in it and put sweep's name on it?
I guess there is nothing that says you can't do that, but the fuk is wrong with you?
Alright enough. I think you get that kind of obsessive behavior rubs me the wrong way. Eagles guy used to start threads with people's names in the title too and we all know he was a fukkin kook.
Go PRO Sammy and don't ask for a handout. I've given you tons of points and asked you to go pro so I could give you more. You didn't do that.
I give away a lot of points, that's all I do with my points, but dear ole Sammy, one of my faves from early on, might get crossed off the list...
