Who cares if one team has easier qualifying?

They will probably have poorer players and no chance at the 10k.

Much much better to have regional teams for more interest/fun if Sam thinks he can manage it.

no, the toughest qualification will have nothing to do with team world's success, it will take, as it did last year (and I can't even remember the two players who did it), several trnies where the world player is down to 100 chips and then uses sbr's incrediblly lame "suck out after suck out" propensity to chip back up and pull off three totally improbable victories to squeak out a win over team usa......

That's good to a point. But what if someone has not ordered from the store or has not done so recently (entirely possible that someone might have moved since the last time they ordered). And as I said, sometimes people live in one location part of the year, another location another part of the year. Can get tricky in some situations for sure!

Just want it to be fair is the key. If indeed it turns out that one of the US regions is much easier to qualify than another, could see some unethical individual trying to "alter" what region they are in - imagine they say placed a new store order and used a relative's address or something if nothing else. So many ways they could try to circumvent the intention of the rule.

Well why do people go and rob banks or rob anything else? Seems pretty simple - when there is $ involved (points on here are $ since you can buy bitcoin if nothing else!) then it brings out the worst in people, just human nature largely unfortunately.

Let's not forget that a few years ago someone was listed as Team Canada when they actually lived in the US (when it was far easier to qualify for Team Canada). Naturally when this was discovered it raised serious concerns about if it was all being done fairly - I think the poster in question wound up banned for a week as a result of misleading (in part due to this, perhaps other things I do not know) SBR in this regard. So we can't pretend like this sort of thing isn't possible - there are always going to be people trying to beat the system as you alluded to - just the way it is!

I'll argue that gamblers usually inherently look for edges or ways to beat the system.

Could break up the Top 36 Qualifying US Players into three teams with a more equal distribution of final standings as follows:

US Alpha: 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16, 19, 22, 25, 28, 31, 34

US Bravo: 2, 5, 8, 11, 14, 17, 20, 23, 26, 29, 32, 35

US Charlie: 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30, 33, 36

The Top 3 Qualifying Players could each go to a separate US Team and the remaining 33 Qualifying Players would be similarly distributed among the three US Teams. This way the talent could be more spread out, making the Team Matches more competitive

West Coast team is gonna be stacked. I would consider it a minor miracle if I am actually able to qualify! Too many good players out here.

Being a natural-born Cali-boy such as myself, it can be challenging sometimes dealing with all the greatness that I'm surrounded by.

Looking out my window right now at another beautiful 75-degree, not a cloud in the sky, perfect Cali day...life is good!
