#8NFL - because of the limited amount of games and early "must win" scenarios that we get every year... revenge games... look ahead games... teams each year that the odds makers have to adjust to who have improved or declined a lot and you got a jump on that
teams that are hyped up and the spreads are beatable
teams who end up in the playoffs in bad spots
teams who just pretty much own another team for a period of years
etc etc etc
teams who rest players at the end of the season
etc etc etc etc etc
teams each year who suck it up in the first half... teams who you can count on to make a comeback once they are behind by multiple scores in the first half (certain QBs)
and so on and so on and so on
ill still probably end up with a losing year
oh well
college is useful too... when you want to do those crazy lotto parlays or parlay a bunch of big ML together esp early in the season for an "easy" win (Otters special)Comment -

#10College Football or College basketball with smaller schools. Less people know about these teams and stay away. Lines can be way off due to discrepancy in skill level.Comment -

I’m as sharp as they come with NFL
if I only had the discipline to bet strictly NFL I would probably be on a yacht right now sipping umbrella drinks with a Cuban woman giving me a hummer and another one massaging my shouldersComment -

#18A "must win" scenario for an NFL team vs. a team "with nothing to play for" is a dangerous trap for a bettor, it's a fan mentality with zero actual insight into a locker room.Comment -

#22It's horses hands down for me. A lot easier to find an edge in a market with thousands on the line than an NFL game with millions hammering the line into shape.Comment -

#25Historically for me it's been College Hoops and MLB. But the way my current month of August has been with MLB it could wipe out everything I made from April through July.
All other major sports like NFL, NBA, and college football are even or probably slightly under for the long run. If and when i do have a solid season in one of those sports, i always look forward to the next season turning to crap. Whatever stats or trends that worked for that one season, will be trash for the following season.
MLS or Euro soccer is rare i wager on. Basically for shitz-n-giggles if i decide watch a game on tv. WNBA is the same.
Nascar and horse racing is like buying a scratch-off ticket. Just something i know i'm pissing money away on, but doing it just for the pure chance anyway.Comment -
