In my near 15yrs doing this I've banned 1 person I think (not counting spammers of course)

I know I give too many chances and some of my fellow mods have even joked about it saying I need to be tougher.

But when my superiors here say we need to clean up all of the bickering & trolling because we want the site to grow, not have members new & old leave because they get tired of it, then it's time we do it.

Bottom line is I/we can't ban a guy when his rival does the same thing.

Yes he started it on most occasions but as soon as you troll him in his thread then we're back to square one.

Eventually it becomes permanent which is next step.

Too many fellow members have complained that they are tired of it and we're not jeopardizing or risking losing multiple for less than a handful, it's easy math.
