Keys vs Williams - hate to bet favorites on womens tennis, but
An exception today I guess because Keys @ 1.55 is for me a firm favorite, if she plays like yesterday no way she loses to Venus Williams. Actually Keys can win the tournament if she keeps it up.

I know some sharps who try to predict and follow their menstrual cycle and bet accordingly.

I think they should be capped based on mental strength/fortitude...not form or ranking. There are going to be major ups and downs in every match & the mentally weaker one usually quits at some point.

I've been waiting to feel confident enough to bet on Keys to win a slam (likely on HC and here) for a few years now, wonder if it will be her time...

i never thought she was that good till year ago.

she has form, and classy, I think it will be a more closer match, but still could be the victor.

                          BOL guys.

I have a general rule to never bet on Keys as a favorite. I violated that rule for this match and played her at -185. Too big of a talent differential, plus the home crowd that Venus has had in her previous matches will not be as prominent, and may even be pro Keys.

As far as her winning the US Open, I don't see it. She's still fragile mentally and her go for broke game can result in losses to clearly inferior opponents. I will admit that the US OPen is her best chance of winning a major.

That, plus in general, in tampoons tennis, H2H means a LOT, etc if Keys have a 3-0 adv vs Williams, Venus is toast ...in mens, completely diff, REVENGE plays a HUGE factor if, of course, ur capable of...

Statistical analysis. Look for patterns spaced about the same as a woman’s cycle. Whether it’s good play or bad and you can find angles I’m guessing. Some women really get messed up by their emotional swings others not so much. Tennis players no different

Venus issue now is age, skills not bad but hard to keep advancing at that age
