It's not about gun laws, it's about gun law enforcement. Everyone knows this. There's no doubt that criminals will continue to shoot people with guns because they're bad people and they ignore the laws. Is this good enough reason to get rid of gun laws? I don't think so. In New Zealand after the mass shooting they levied new gun laws, the key though, is that they enforced it..they banned assult rifles.
They realized that for the betterment of society sometimes you have to make sacrifices. If you don't want your children dying in schools, you change the gun laws & enforce them. Just like fire safety laws. It was an inconvenience to install fire doors and inflammable materials in buildings. But we did it. Why? Because it was in the interest of safety. Nobody said, "there's always going to be fires and we can't stop them so let's get rid of all the fire safety regulations." But when it comes to guns, the United States has a mental deficiency. They ignore the effectiveness of gun laws all over the planet, while killing each other with guns indisproportionately record numbers. I'm aware that most of the retards here at SBR do not influence or control gun legislation. But those who have the ability to influence new gun legislation yet sit on their hands while your citizens mow each other down with with assault rifles, is the true definition of deplorable.
