paid for law school and a good chunk of undergrad, and my first car, with money I'd saved workin' on that farm, mainly driving tractors since I was 8 yrs old, earning $2.50 an hour.... also drove -- during harvest -- a damn tractor pulling a grain buggy. When I got a raise to $3.00 / he as a freshman in high school, I thought I was rich..... summers were 14-16 hr days.....
