Yes some value on this bet, probably due to the fact that Medvedev should have won 6-1 6-4 yesterday, looking really good all week. He has a shot I hope.

Medvedev has a great backhand and is tall which helps against Nadal, also defends very well. Interesting final, just hope his lack of experience in big finals won't be a factor.

Man Nadal looked his age in that first set against Fognini. A step slow all around the court. Good thing is Fognini has no consistency and couldn't keep up hitting cold winners off the return for long enough to be any trouble. Concerning because Nadal hasn't really played anyone in great form and didn't play his SF, in comparison with his opponent.

Nadal will probably have to try and move Medvedev around the court and make him reach down for those low balls like Khachanov tried to do. But I've seen Medvdedev at his flaky best (think that match against Goffin at Wimbledon), you can't afford to miss so many first serves and DFs but thankfully these last two weeks haven't been the case. I hope Medvedev can do what Fognini did but for longer, and if he does he will win.

No I didn't, everything indicated a close final, Medvedev on fire all week and Nadal far from his level of 2018 on hard court. Did not watch the match and was very surprised by the scoreline. Read here and there that it was very windy and affected Med more.
