some interesting bits of history for some that say preseason results dont mean squat. sometimes it does for some teams..

Baltimore has double digit win streaks in preseason on 4 occassions.. 11 straight and 13 straight when they were the Baltimore Colts with Johnny U they went to the Super Bowl twice lost and won one. With the Ravens from 1998-2000 they won 12 in a row in preseason and eventually won the Super Bowl. Current Ravens are at 15 which i believe is 2nd most behind the Packers with Vince Lombardi where they won 19 in a row.. they had 6 preseason games back in the day.

Other teams like the George Halas Bears, Sid Gilman's 60's Chargers, 50's Detroit Lions did great in preseason and won championships. only the Colts and Ravens are relevant in Super Bowl era

Vikings have definitely performed better in Pre-Season than regular seasons, but going 3-1 and 2-2 isn't quite this undefeated streak we are talking about that the Ravens have.

nope dont mind it all. just shows how much depth and talent some teams have.

and the Baltimore football teams went to 3 Super Bowls when they had an undefeated record in preseason. i could give you a list of teams with 2-2 or better record in preseason that make the Super Bowl.. majority of them go 3-1 in preseason. thats why teams like Patriots, Ravens, Steelers and Seahawks are consistently perennial playoff contenders
