Should parents be held accountable for these mass tragedy?

Most of these shootings are by a white male 18-24yo or thereabouts.
I know you can go to war and die for your country at 18 yo.
Some of these sociopaths are living at home with parents who support their car insurance, rent, food, internet access etc. can they be held accountable for their offspring purchasing Kevlar on the web, firearms and the tragedy they cause?
