Tonight's MLB slate -Few things stick out.
    1)
Do the Yankees and Tanaka have a brain fart, you know a let down and slip up against Balty tonight.
Tanaka is -250/+230. I won't fade the NYY streak but a one game hiccup would not blow my mind here.

    2)
Wacha and the Cards on the road on your 2019 World Series Champ Dodgers might be worth a play.
Your 1927 Yankees, oops I'm sorry the Dodgers start Tony Gonsolin who is very wet behind the ears.
You can get Wacha and the Red Birdies at +150. Tempting.

    3)
Giolito and the Pale Hose visit the bottom feeder Tigers.
Giolito is having a real nice season, even though the White Sox are not my go to team to wager on this is a good spot tonight on the road. Tigers start Spencer Trumbull, he's not a complete hamburger but he's hittable.
White Sox are affordable at -130. +120 on the run line.

    4)
Total in the Twins / Braves affair seems way to high at 10.5
Braves start wonder boy Soroka, and the Twins start Odorizzi.
Unders are risky business in this day and age of arena baseball, but could pay off here.
Game line is -105/-105 man to man pick 'em. Braves might be worth a small play too.

    5)
Game 2 of the Metropolitans and the Marlins features a pair of Hall of Fame starters Walter Lockett and Sandy Alcantara. If you wager this game you have rocks in your head. (but if you do get a juicy price on the Fishies and wager it, I may be inclined to forgive you.

    6)
This game I got my eye on. Nasher's new darling is on the mound for the Indians v. Ranger affair.
Connecticut home boy Aaron Civale makes his second ever start for the Sons of Wahoo.
Civale was a reliever his Sophomore and Junior seasons at Northeastern where he had some success.
Northeastern than converted Civale into a starter his senior year and shined.
Was 9-3 his senior year with a 1.73 ERA and a 0.92 WH/IP (eye popping)

Tribe drafted him in 2016 where he was exclusively a starter.
Civale pitched 4 seasons in the minors was a winner there too going 25-16 in 74 games, all starts.
Rock solid numbers in the minors ERA 3.12 and a WH/IP of 1.11 averaging a K an inning 9.2 per nine.

His first major league start was stellar going six innings yielding 2 hits striking out 6 (3 walks allowed) v. Detroit.

He's a cutter/slider pitcher who isn't afraid to come inside, he once threw at his dad in the father/son picnic game.

Civale and the Wahoo's are -160 at home in Cleveland where it's "Die Hard Night"
Free admission to anybody alive who was actually when the Injuns actually won a pennant.

-160 is a tad steep but I'm rooting for Connecticut's very own Aaron Civale and the Tribe.

Seeing contrarian value on the Angels and the A's as of now Shute, I picked them up in the Fund.

          Good Luck Nasher and Shute!!

Was thinking the same thing with the Yanks, Steve.

Odorizzi was a HD, although last time I checked, I think he's up to a small HF.

Wow, nice thread with useful insight.

Yankees are in a classic spot of not showing up. They just swept the Sox and are coming off a Sunday night game. What does this game mean to them?

I’m definitely not backing the shit show that’s is Baltimore but I have a weird feeling about this game.

                        Best to stay away.

Not for nothing, but the Birds have been playin pretty good lately. I can't back Yona, but I'll pass on takin the Yanks after their "getting revenge"

I like the under in the Twinkies game and the White Sox too.

The Connecticut kid Civale looks like a keeper.
Throws another gem, 6 innings again, 3 hits, 1 earned, 1 walk and 7 K's in a 1-0 hard luck defeat.

                                    2 career starts, 12 IP 5 hits, 4 walks, 1 earned run 13 K's
                                    0.75 ERA and 0.75 WH/IP
