I think cops on scene can tell who the real shooter is hammering down an AK or AR and spraying the crowd.. If Cops are there then you don't have to take action, put your gun away..

I'd say if you are packing and the first on scene and that is the only one armed then take a shot if you have a clean view of the shooter. Or charge and shoot.. It's a tough call but you are trying to save lives...

I don't think Jibby understands the chaotic scenes that occur with an active shooter situation. You pull out a gun and the guy 10 yards away from you pulls out gun to protect his family and he sees you running with a gun the moment you open up your mouth to say "I'm the good guy with gun" he is going to shoot you.

there were a ton of activities going on all around Ohio yesterday... heck on my drive to Columbus for weekly beach volleyball tournament I had to keep stopping the cops direct traffic due to it being the day people on bicycles ride around all over a number of areas/towns

music festivals/etc etc people just out on a saturday all day into the night... i don't travel to Dayton for anything tho. sad to hear this... there are always a couple this time of year

take away all the guns please... it will solve the problem 100% especially with civilians unable to protect themselves

The last 2 shooters killed how many Democrats? Do you think they took a poll before shooting victims? Most people are in the middle. They are neither right or left. Some people may have grown up leaning one side but moving more to the middle later. Do you think the gunmen figured that all out? This gunmen in Dayton killed 6 of 9 black victims but also killed his sister (I assume is white). Was she a democrat? Was she dating a black guy? I'm hearing that her boyfriend was black. But, Who the hell knows but who the hell cares? Bottom line, high powered guns are too fukking easy to get.

In all these cases these guys have easy access to assault rifles. Fuk the politics. Stop easy access to high powered weapons. We spend billions to protect this country from foreign adversaries but we have terrorist on our own soil that we are not prepared to do shit about. We need to spend more money on reducing guns in this country. It's an easy fix for me. Less guns = less gun violence. Don't tell me it can't be done. Figure out how to get it done. I own guns. I'm not talking about banning guns. How about starting with reducing them? how about banning gun manufactures from manufacturing certain guns? This shit has got to stop.
