Guns not the entire problem as they've been around since the Constitution and Country came into existence.. The old western days everyone carrying guns around riding horses..

A gun is just an effective method of killing someone. Today, you have manufacturers conjuring up more deadly weapons that can do much more harm to citizens.

It is not the same today. Madison who wrote it wanted more power for states (particularly southern). He wanted individuals to be able to form militias, not to protect themselves individually but to be able to protect the overall states. We've distorted this as to individuals rights to protect themselves by stockpiling weapons individually. No, we were to stockpile weapons, to hand out to the community in case of invasion by foreign adversaries. Madison, sure as hell would have never written the 2nd amendment to allow individuals to carry guns that can fire 100 rounds per minute.

Ironically, to further the point about gun violence. Madison was introduced to his wife by Aaron Burr, who ended up killing Alexander Hamilton (who helped Madison craft the amendment) with a gun.

I'm all for COMPLETELY banning Assault rifles in America and the purchasing of .223 rounds and extended magazines...

Those guns and Mag clips are the preferred choice for mass shootings.. Fox and CNN, Trump and Obama doesn't influence my mind there. I can see what's going on!!!
