I have been involved with bitcoin since 2013 and have done hundreds of transactions. Hell I was a trusted escrow on bitcointalk years ago when I was involved daily with the forum.

You’re an idiot. When I buy sell 3k of bitcoin the banks trigger a SARS report. Even if you buy/withdraw strictly cash, it triggers reports. Only way to avoid reports is cash in hand transactions which are going to have massive 10% fees. No thanks.

So yeah, if you’re a high stakes player, there’s no way the IRS won’t know that you’re involved in bitcoin. Thus, that’s bad.

Doesnt matter if you use BTC, cash , credit or even gold coins... you are legally required to report (IRS) gambling W/L : more so if one is a "high stakes player"

If one wants to ignore that... one is taking a serious chance regardless

Plenty of ways to get BTC relatively anonymous if one chooses to take the risks
