He looked out to me.
Better question is, what happened to the Angels hitters when that centerfielder started throwing 50 mph lob balls at them? Do they not practice hitting really slow, amateurish pitches?

Just got done watching that replay as well. Ump made some called strikes that if called balls would have changed the whole at bats

Any chance the umpire got caught offguard, got confused? Just wasn't ready for pitches coming in so slowly and called a larger strike zone there for a minute.
