#38Career Era of like 11 against them.. Not to mention off the DL... Terrible whole career as a pitcher.. Against one of hottest lineups in baseball.. Baseball happens some times.. Thought the +150 was worth a shot.. Oh wellOriginally posted by 2daBankHe carved Nats up tonight.Comment -

I just looked at it as gausman being the lessor of the 2 evils and didn’t mind laying the runs on home team since I capped it as high scoring.
This Actually 1st game of series I took atl, was on Nats rl and ml the 1st 2. Def was some value w them this series. Nats playing about as well as anyone in baseball these last few weeks so certainly don’t blame anyone for playing them tonight. I Got down on Nats ws future during the asb, hoping they go out and get some guys to sure up the pen before the deadline!! Nobody wants to see these guys in a playoff series w the starters they can throw at you!!Comment -

#49One takeaway from the game. Umpire Rob Drake has the loosest strike zone in MLB. Just by observation tonight he was calling balls strikes and if the pitch was remotely close he would call it a strike. Some umpires now are loosening the strike zone because of the juiced balls this year. Hitters aren't going to like the rest of this year but I think they feel they need to level the playing field with looser strike zones. Just an observation you guys may profit from going forward.

#53Nice win
The next point you made today about loose strikezone could be valid, I would just say that many umps are inconsistent with their strikezone during a game.
I'm in favor of the computerized strikezone. Not expecting it to happen anytime soon.Comment -

#54I have totally mixed feelings. Admittedly it would be fantastic to watch a game and not see terrible pitches called strikes while good pitches called balls. That said it would be a shame for my big notebook on umps k-zones I use for capping to be rendered useless!!! lol.Originally posted by hotcrossNice win
