I think it debatable which is more credit than lot of ppl give them. Don’t really think any of the teams have a rock solid airtight claim on that crown at the moment.

Every team In central flawed in one aspect of their game or another. Def think a case can be made reds don’t have one glaring weakness you can point to like the others do at the moment, but could be argued most the other central teams have a more substantial strength you can point to and say “that part of their team is best in the central”.

Maybe reds starting pitching can be that strength? They have a top flight legit ace in Castillo. Sonny grey has been fantastic. They have serviceable innings eaters every staff needs. I read Alex wood was about to make his 3rd rehab start but only slated for 55-65 pitches so he prob 10-14 days away. If he could finally get on the field and be the guy he was in LA the last few seasons reds would have a very formidable 1-2-3 who could go toe to toe with anyone!!

This isn’t being a homer I promise but I expect cards and reds to be 1-2 in central by end of year, would love to see them both make playoffs.

Same. You’re right about the slow start. Since that first month, they have been very profitable.

I didn’t play them early and waited for them to right the ship a bit. That is one team I had good timing on.

I know this is stating the obvious in baseball, but They can win just about any given night and they’re often a dog.

They’re definitely not a team to get overs on anymore.
