Windows 10 and Internet Explorer changing browser hi jack at start up!!! Errrr!!!

I know this is happening to all PC users that have downloaded the latest WINDOWS 10 updates that don't use INTERNET EXPLORER as their browser. The new settings jack your browser after the download update..

So I have 2 PC computers and operate in Windows 10 daily on both. I use firefox/Waterfox as my browser on both.. I like them.. I don't use Internet Explorer browser..

So when ever I log in now to the internet at start up it is INTERNET EXPLORER now that pops up not Firefox. I know PC users are experiencing this. I'm not the only one!!!

Maybe Internet Explorer is a superior browser but I don't like to be forced into anything. This was a TOTAL hijack browser download by WINDOWS 10 and INTERNET EXPLORER!!! NOT COOL!!!

DON'T let these fockers force you to change your browser if you don't want to!!!! NOT COOL!!!

THE FIX - (windows 10)

• Right click the Start icon and select Control Panel.
• Click Programs.
• Choose Programs & Features.
• In the left sidebar, select Turn Windows features on or off.
• Uncheck the box next to Internet Explorer 11.
• Select Yes from the pop-up dialogue.
• Press OK.

Jibby NO WAY is this a Windows 10 issue. Microsoft wants people to use Edge not IE and IE is only around for legacy use.

Sounds like you have a virus or malware problem.

I use Win 10 and am not having the problem you described.

I don't have the same virus on both computers.. WRONG!! I wouldn't start this thread if it was a virus issue.. Someone else please chime in if you experienced this!!!! People that don't use INTERNET EXPLORER as their main browser..

I already corrected this issue with the FIX solution in original post above. I'm good now. Google it, it's issue now for many...

Calm down champ. There is no issue and no other reports of IE becoming default browser on Win 10.

Not drinking happen to both my Laptops in windows 10 last WINDOWS auto update.. NO LIE!!!

As soon as reboot at start up the browser automatically went into INTERNET EXPLORER browser when trying to connect. I'd had to close it then click FIREFOX to start that browser up.. BOTH COMPUTERS after latest WINDOWS 10 downloads..

I fixed the problem by disabling internet explorer 11 check box on both computers.. As I typed out in OG post.

I'm not making this shiiit up.. THAT'S WHY I STARTED THIS THREAD.. Not looking for attention just sharing..

Ok up date the problem is still not fixed. I turn on my computer this morning and internet explorer browser and BING automatically continues to start every time.

So now I went to youtube for help now and found this vid below. Sure enough YOUTUBE always delivers vids when you need to fix or repair anything in life (mechanically or technically)

Maybe I do have a virus or malware, the problem is still not solved. No matter what I try I can't seem to make Internet Explorer stop from automatically popping up every time I turn on and off my computer..

It's just a little strange that this happened on both my laptop computers and right after the last auto Windows update.

I've ran CCcleaner and Advanced Systems Care scan and both didn't fix the problem.. I'll work on it, it's just annoying. Any suggestions?
