Washington Wizards. Then they will have two supermax PG's who can't shoot. One with a torn Achilles tendon and the other with a torn brain stem. Just seems Wizardslike.

i really believe the magic. they haven't had a star since mcgrady. getting better so drafting in middle now. not bad picks to add to what okc already got. hasn't been a reason to go to a magic game in awhile. people will pay to see russ. despite the hate, he is a hof

I hope he comes East. 1 less legit playoff team to worry about.
If Riles signs him in Miami for that absurd contract, it is P.T.Barnum re-dux.
Just selling those tickets.

Shot, that would hilarious! I really think the Knicks are the destination. The REAL contenders know they want no part of this guy.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

Player like westbrook who can't shoot well and are on the wrong side of 30 that are owed 40 million or more are almost impossible to move, the Wall and Westbrook contract are two of the worst in the NBA.

I would just pay Westbrook in OKC. You need a star right? You need to sell tickets. Can't just give everyone up. It's odd.

I think OKC is stuck with him. Kind of like the Rockets are stuck with Chris Paul.

assets and expiring contracts because of the money and oklahoma flexibility going forward
oklahoma has enough draft picks already
thats what it will take

Could be an interesting spot. They have some young talent to trade. As a Magic fan, I wouldn’t
mind it. They aren’t gonna win with the pieces they have now. Westbrook, Gordon, and Vucevic is a solid core. Who knows on Fultz, and Bamba. Send them both off with a bunch of draft picks, fck it. Gotta go for more than middle of the road every year.

As a magic fan you didn't mention their future building block in Jonathan Isaac. He's far more promising than any of the names mentioned, Westbrook included

Well, I don’t want him traded so didn’t mention his name. I could have added him to the core, yeah. They are gonna stay put with where they are at anyway, but if they could add Westbrook and not lose that core group then it wouldn’t be terrible. Bamba may be great, but he may be another Thabeet.

They need to ship Gordon off and let Isaac fully develop to the max

Wouldn’t mind losing Gordon. He does everything okay, but isn’t ever gonna be elite at anything but jumping. I’m not even a fan of Russ, but he adds something to the team that they don’t have. A guard who can get his own bucket. Surround him with Ross, Aminu, Isaac, and Vucevic then you actually have something that can contend with the top four in the East. They need guards.

seems like miami is the frontrunner
I get what people are saying bad contract etc, but this is a top 15 player, maybe even top 10
They dont come along so much and next years free agency class is weak compared to this one.
If miami gets him, they do a little tinkering, they should be set up for a nice season.
oklahoma wont even make the playoffs as of now, their own picks will be more valuable if they completely suck, so its in their best interest to get rid of him asap

Westbrook the only player whose teams play better if he's the only star on the team.
I can't imagine him in Miami forced to share one basketball with Jimmy Butler. Oh yeah and they have Dion Waiter too

He would be a great 2-3 man on a decent squad to help with scoring in the playoffs. But I’m sure no one wants his nonsense trying to command a team.

Miami is the only team desperate enough to think about trading for him, I don't think Arison will take that kind of money on.

One of the accomplished players ever in the history of the NBA. He’s probably the most unguardable player in the league. Even when he is triple teamed all game he still pumps out triple doubles, crazy what he does.
Unfortunately for him as someone else said, he’s not a great team player. A one man wrecking crew but one guy doesn't win it all
