Cormier will beat Jones. Not Santos.

Santos will take some chances for sure. I think his way to victory is ITD, probably the within the first 2 rounds, maybe 3rd but beyond that, I think Jones will be too much in the later rounds.

                          No he won't...

If you do think Santos is gonna win bet him ITD for better odds, it's a 5 round fight and I highly doubt he'll beat Bones Jones by decision if it ever went to decision..

Jones has a granite chin, I've never even seen him get rocked.. Undefeated..

Santos is Brazilian so you know he does have subs and chokes if he does rock JJ and grab his back.. That's why I posted the ITD prop above.. Santos does win by KO in almost all his fight though. https://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Thiago-Santos-90021

Even better odds if you are leaning Santos by KO..

                                  1037 Santos wins by TKO/KO +574

Better chance for Jones to be DQ for cocaine or PEDs than Thiago winning.

It's not like Santos is some spring chicken. He's a veteran too and is actually four years older than Jones who is in his athletic prime at 31.

3rd straight fight in a row for Jones.

What do people think about Jones coaches saying Jones is improving by taking multiple fights in a row?

Is it accurate or do they just want Jones to fight more so they can get paid more?

an above average MW is going to beat Jon Jones???
pass... unless he lands a miracle shot thats his only chance landing a hail marry overhand

Jones will most likely pick him apart and finish him round 2-3 on the ground

A chance he could win by decision if JJ goes into peppering mode.. I agree Paper..

I'm just not so sure Santos can hold up to all that peppering for 5 full rounds? JJ did KO Gus 2 fights ago, beat the crap out of the durable Smith also in his last scrap, almost finished Smith in that one...

I think Jones is trying a little harder to finish fights now.. He has been a decision machine during his entire career though pretty much.. https://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Jon-Jones-27944

ESPN MMA’s Brett Okamoto speaks with UFC light heavyweight title contender Thiago Santos ahead of his fight vs. Jon Jones at UFC 239 in Las Vegas. Santos says Jones is a man like any other and is focusing on himself and clears the air on comments he made in a previous interview that drew a response from Jones. Santos also says he has to win by KO because that’s his style.
