July 1st-July 7th MLB Action Point Totals Contest!!
Lets face it we have one more week of MLB ...then the All Star Break. After that we are on our way to the Pennant races and then what? You got it...Football! So since next week is the the beginning of July, and we will be celebrating the 4th with all of our favorites...Hot Dogs Apple Pie, and Grandma, we thought of making a week long contest. Here it is:
The Inaugural MLB Action Point Totals Contest!
PRIZE $200
OPEN TO EVERYONE
If you are an SBR PRO AND YOU WIN YOU RECEIVE THE FULL PRIZE.
IF YOU ARE A NON PRO YOU WILL WIN A SBR PRO MEMBERSHIP (GOOD FOR ONE YEAR).
If a NON PRO wins they receive the FREE SBR PRO membership and the $200 prize goes to the HIGHEST scoring SBR PRO
Any TIES in Contest will be split by number of SBR PRO winners.(We do not expect any TIES here)
How to play:
Simply select ANY MLB game using an SBROdds Total (ONE PER DAY) beginning on Monday July 1st.
Post the Total here and see if your game scores MORE THAN THE POSTED TOTAL.
For every run that the game scores more than the posted total you receive one point. If your game goes UNDER the posted total you get zero points for that day.
The final score of the game you select will determine how many points you receive for that day (If ANY).
Object of the Contest is to have your game score HIGHER than the posted total on SBROdds.
At the end of the week the person who has scored the most runs wins!
EX: July 1st I select KC @TOR Total posted is 10.5 @PINNACLE. The game ends up 9-7 Toronto winning. I get 9+7=16 RUNS minus the posted total of10.5 = 5.5 for the day.
Rain out or PPD/Cancelled game voids that days selection. In this situation you need to pick two games tomorrow. If you miss a day it is ok you simply have a lesser chance of winning.
IF YOU SELECT A GAME ON THE LAST DAY AND IT GETS PPD/CANCELLED OR IS NOT COMPLETED FOR ANY REASON THERE IS NO MAKE UP GAME TO ADD. CONTEST ENDS SUNDAY JULY 7TH NO MATTER WHAT.
IN THE CASE OF A DOUBLE HEADER ONLY THE FIRST GAME COUNTS TOWARDS THE CONTEST.
Contest starts on Monday July 1st.
Picks must be entered by start of THE FIRST game everyday.
Must post on this thread to enter.
