Should increase it to 86. Play each team in conference four times and each team out of conference twice. More games to bet and more money to earn for everyone. Only reason to be against that would be if you want more time of nothing but guys sitting around talking on the local Fox Sports.

Get rid of all of the shitty teams. Get the league down to 8 Super teams and let them play each other 6 times each season. (3 home and 3 away).

Top four teams make the playoffs and they play Best of 5 in the Semis and best of 7 in the finals.

This would actually make it watchable.

Need to find a way to split the season into 2 halves like they did in the 1981 strike season. Would potentially spark interest in teams that would be clearly out of the race halfway through the season.

Though it would shorten the number of games, i still feel like the league would drag out the time in between games, and the post season. We would then probably end up with a season that runs from nov through the end of may.

Damn right, blows my mind how everyone talks about fatigue. Some us mfers do real work for 8+ hours a day for 5+ days a week. Playing basketball is not hard work!! Some of us do it for fun after completing our real jobs!!

No they shouldn’t, some of us like it way more than nba or nfl and it would suck if the season was almost over. Part of the reason winning a championship is hard is because it hard to sustain success for 162 games.
