No one carries his magazine around here any more. It is pretty sad when your rag is outsold by Lindy's. His B.S. has finally caught up to him. Touts are D.O.A. today. Look how many former touts work for Don Best now. Look at Jim Feist. He was kind of the tout hill once, and now he works for Best, Lawrence, and anyone else who will give him a few crumbs for his opinion.

Now if you think Steele is bad (and he is), check these alleged experts picks out. John Ryan of John Ryan Sports (whoever they are) picks Jacksonville and Chicago in the Superbowl and Penn State to face Clemson in the NC game.
Brad Diamond of SportsCapping.com likes the Chargers and Seattle in the Superbowl and Texas vs Alabama in the NC game. Joe Greble aka the "Kidd" picks UDub in the NC Game. There are many more picks that could be considered SBR material, yet these guys are suppose to know what they are doing.

Every Rag I have seen has at least one of those teams in the NC game. Most have both. Lawrence's Playbook likes Alabama vs Georgia. It must be a Southern thing for him because he likes AFC South Indy against NFC South New Orleans in the Super Bowl.

4 team playoff and alabama/clemson/ohio state are no-brainer obvious picks (not saying that's right but just it doesn't take much thought to come up with those names).

i think phil's huge amounts of info are great........ i do think he sometimes overthinks things though.

i've somewhat lost interest in CFB for two reasons 1) seems like the ordering of the 5 big conferences is pretty similar every year, 2) nowhere ot bet on it easily.
