Oh shit, he’s actually gonna man up and be the guy in LA. Respect. Good on him not joining the super power team. He will have some great pieces around him in order to lead them as a team. Knew he was going home, and hoped it was the Clip show. He probably doesn’t want to join that drama filled craphole that is the Lakers. I can root for Kawhi again! George too, wow. They have some great young players too. The Clippers are finally out of the gutter. The NBA is wide open again. How quickly things change.

I actually like this move for the Thunder.

They aren’t winning anything with this squad anyway.

They got a ton of picks to build on, some much needed three point shooting, and they cut some salary.

Truth be told... Leonard never gave a fuk about Toronto. The Scott Van Pelt interview told it all lol Never once heard a man use past tense during an interview like the way Leonard used it.

Leonard wanted out of San Antonio.... Raptors were the only team that could basically trade somewhat evenly...

cutting salary in okc means nothing because no fa is going there. russ or no russ. its not a destination. trade russ to the magic if you are gonna do a rebuild. and those picks from clips will all be in the high 20's so you end up with a lot more grants and robersons lol.

I disagree the heat didn't have to trade anything tho to land lebron and they also brought along Bosh who was like a top 8 player the year before so it's a little different.

He didn’t take the easy route at least in joining up with LeBron and AD, which basically guaranteed a Finals trip. He has PG as a sidekick, but didn’t go for the trio that is the new norm in the NBA. He will have to win with some guys who aren’t stars, but instead are grinders who know their role and play accordingly. Great mix of talent, youth, and experience. And with guys who actually D up. The Clippers are gonna be bringing it back to the old school style of ball. Man up on D, then the offense will come. It’ll be nice to watch. Not just lining up guys on the three point line and firing away. Kawhi, PG, and Trez is a defensive nightmare for opponents.
