I watched the Toronto local news tonight and they showed footage of KD receiving a STANDING OVATION and cheers as he was leaving the floor.

Yes, initially some fans were happy he went down , but once the moment was over and they realized exactly what was going on they did what any other fans would do and that is applaud the man and wish him well.

Durant is not only an Olympian but he's never been in trouble with the law or beat his girlfriend. He's done nothing to deserve that type of treatment. When they showed the replay in the stadium the fans went bonkers, I was in the bar the other night when Durant went down and there wasn't cheering like @ the game. Most of raptor fans are casual sports fans and though that is no excuse I just don't think they understood the extent of the injury right away.
