I watched the second half.

Defense was so terrible.

USA didn't play dirty of anything, it was such a lazy defense. Defenders left USA open all second half.
Hard for them to not run it up.

However, won't be surprised if their is payback.
Well, it's a fact that the US sends their soy boys to play in the men's tourneys. (Because our best athletes play football and basketball)
Maybe theyll get blasted 14-0 in their opener next year.

Spread of -5.5 means they should win about 5 or 6 to 0 or 6 or 7 to 1, not 13 to 0 lol.

In the history of the World Cup (Men's), only one team has ever scored double digits in a game (Hungary over El Salvador in 1982). So yes this is not exactly "supposed to" range.

Really didn't think there was enough time in 1 half (45min) to score 10 times. Almost feels mathematically impossible. But...they did.

Well I wasn't speaking in terms of being impressed that they could run it up that high, just surprised they did, most teams would hold back after it's around half that many goals.

As I said in the other thread, I kind of wonder if they were really trying to make a statement with this in regards to the equal pay demand - trying to illustrate how "good" they are to bolster that position. Why else run it up that high?

But as I also said, I think this could be viewed in the opposite way, showing that this competition is somewhat of a joke when a team that can qualify for the World Cup (something only 24 teams make it to) can lose this badly, just illustrates the general low level of the competition.
