I prefer they do it that way than start a game when you know a storm coming in. Screws a gms vibe all up when they start them then take a 2 hour break.. Tony Larussa used to be a genius w it tho, it is the home teams option whether or not to start a game, once it begins it up to the umps/league I believe. So he would choose to start them and have a pen guy pitch till the inevitable delay after a inning or 2, then would bring starter in after the delay while the other team used theirs up and obviously didn’t bring them back often after the long delay! lolComment
