I don't watch bases obviously, but why is Houston -160 on the road while their missing their 3 superstar players in Altuve, Correa and Springer? That seems like a like of ground to make up on a b2b on the road in an environment like Oakland. I'd rather take the better overall team to win, not just focus on the pitcher, and I don't see how Houston can be the better team with missing their 3 best players, and Oakland's best player is returning tonight.

Asked if Aledmys Diaz will require a rehab assignment, A.J. Hinch responded "I think they all will."

This is the extent of the Astros injury updates for the day.

Astros have great depth at the minor league level. If kids like Fisher, Mayfield, and Kemp continue to look good while the big guys are healing, they could make decent "major league ready" trade chips when the deadline comes along.

They don’t need any position players

If anything maybe another starting pitcher

Madison Bumgarner would be a good addition

Yep. They need a #3. I doubt it will happen, but there are rumors also swirling that the Nationals might put Scherzer out there if this season keeps going the way it is.

Verlander is 11-1, 1.73 ERA in his last 14 starts vs. the A’s before today.

-160 and above road favorites are like 70-18 or something like that past two years I believe.. could be off by a few games but you get the picture.....
