Was expecting this one to get bet but it hasn’t. 9-1 with 5 mtp. Nice back class, good early foot, best turf jock on the grounds, and a sharp under the radar trainer.

Goes first off the claim for Cannizzo, who moves the horse to turf. Took a bad stumble last out and still ran second. I expect Cannizzo to pump some speed into the horse, so expect to be winging up front. Patented Cannizzo claim.

Augustin Stable is loaded with turf runners but usually flies under the radar. Their good ones go to Jonathan Sheppard, Graham Motion, and Michael Matz. So this new partnership with trainer Jonathan Thomas is an interesting one. Thomas was the next big thing once Catholic Boy burst on the scene, but the trainer has been quiet otherwise. It looks like he’s getting the lower level Augustin runners for now, but if they show some life I wouldn’t be surprised to see him get the good ones. It will definitely be a team to watch when the action moves North to Saratoga. I’m gonna jump on board now with the hopes of getting in on the ground floor before the sharpsters.....

Good Luck and Happy Father’s Day!

GL and Happy Father’s Day to everyone.

Interesting info, I’m not surprised if she wins; my only concern is that it’s usually pretty tough to win at 1 1/16 at first asking. ML 6-1 seems fair for this group. Gonna use her for sure. I’m gonna use the 2- Claddagh’s Run also. She ran decent last out, raced mid pack then flattened out; she should be better fit today. Big class drop. Trainer Weaver has done well with class drop and 2nd start, only problem is Weaver is kind of cold at this meet. So I expect her odds to go up. Gonna take a chance at ML 9-2. GL.

Augustin has one in Race 5 as well, #7 Winter Union 7/2. This one’s running for Matz. I might as well play the Augustin Double, 7 with 1. Made a win bet on Winter Union as well.

Sticking with Ferraro off short rest. He won the finale on Sun in similar mode at 37-1 with a horse we mentioned on page 1. This one ran decent enough at Monmouth and expect it to be sharper today off the short rest. Saratoga starting a little early this year (July 11) so look for these no name guys to scoop up some wins here at Belmont while the bigger outfits prep their barns for up North.
