Jordan played against quite a few bums. I honestly think Kobe's era after Shaq bounced was the best era of defense I've ever seen in history. With the spurs, the 04 pistons, the 08 Celtics, the 2010 Heat. Those were the best defensive teams ever with the exception of Jordan Pippen and Rodman. Today, we're reverting back to the 70s. Run and gun, no D. The Rockets with Artest and Battier trying to guard Bryant. Like people talk about the Bad Boy pistons, but honestly if you watch those games, there was a lot of shit going on in those games that wasn't pure basket. You had Rick Mahorn and Lambeer and these guys drilling people coming down the line. Come on. That's not physicality. Literally anyone who's 6'5 or more can do that and can potentially injury you.

Yeah, Jordan was just ahead of his time plain and simple. Put him back in the maybe like late 90s and 2000s era up through the Celtics and Duncan's and Kobe's reign, and right around the time the Heat split, that's the era I'd like to see Jordan play. I'm not interested in seeing him face team USA basketball in what has become a laughing stock with Golden State. Because not even Joran would win that series if everyone is healthy.

Overall, yeah, that Bad Boys team was very good don't get me wrong, but they weren't playing real basketball out there. Like, so many players got injured in that era. They'd fukk you up game 1 and make sure your knee wasn't right for the rest of the series. Sometimes not even anything blatant. Pop is really the greatest coach in history, from a defensive standpoint. I'd like to see Jordan face these kinds of teams.

On a side note, I think the refs have done a good job in the playoffs allowing physical play. They haven't fallen too much for Lowry and Cp3's cheap flopping tricks. Or Harden's. Been a nice playoffs to watch, low scoring for the most part.

If it was up to me I wouldn’t have ever had to play quick ass gaurds (on defense, love posting them up) id rather bang down low despite only being 6’1 but since I could basically do whatever I pretty much played 1 thru 5 depending on what was needed. It was a lot easier for me playing taller bigs cause I could use my strength to control them/offset height and hops.
