What are some of your gambling superstitions ? if you have any

I really don't have any, but sometimes if the game I'm on is winning, I say to myself I should have put more on it
and half the times I lose the game.

think it's more on the " don't count your chickens " or it ain't over until it's over type of thing

1. I like to be able to watch the game which I have action on it. Whether I'm streaming it or on TV, I don't like to bet games I can't watch.

2. Don't bet against my favorite team. I'll watch my team lose, but I'm not going to intentionally root for my favorite team to lose. Either bet my favorite team or just don't bet the game.

3. I rotate my wedding ring when I'm losing. IDK been doing that since I've been married. If it's early in the game, I take it off, turn it around and put it back on. No idea if it works, but I do that move quite often

4. I try not to say the phrase "ONE TIME." I use that phrase maybe 1x a month and then pray to the gambling gods like hey this is the first time all month I've said this. Common, make it happen one time.

5. Don't get too emotional too early. I don't clap along every basket or every score or whatever sport. I wait until late in the game to start getting loud and cheering along.

I actually do the opposite sometimes if it's a really important game. The key is to place a small bet on the other team, small enough you couldn't care less about losing the bet. That way you'll at least get something back if your team loses.

Try to avoid being on same side as the top sbr mushes! Never be on same side as JJ when he says things like “ no way a team loses” or “only a jerkoff would play team x” or “all the sharps unloading on team x”. Dunno if that superstitious or just common sense!!

I once turned off my TV, closed my lap top, and was only following the game on my phone, because the pace was moving better for the over when the TV was off. I also never try to think about my next bet when I have one pending. As soon as I start looking for my next play, and plan to use my winnings, I lose. I also pray that I'm never on the same side as Seaweed.

Any sport other than basketball, I always think I've lost the bet if the other team scores first, regardless of how early in the game. Unfortunately, it doesn't work the opposite way if my team scores early. Gambler's skepticism.
