while i think magic is a self-centered, shallow idiot. and jeannie buss is probably in over her head, what has actually happened here that is so horrible for the future?

they have lebron, they have good young talent, they have a top draft pick (can't remember what spot it is exactly) and they can easily get a second star to play there. plus they can probably get an older minor star to sign there for below-market (or MLE/LLE).

Am starting to Drink but the Knicks were gamers back in the day and won a couple of titles in the early 70's.. 90's with Ewing and company they were always in the mix and playoffs battling.

Knicks suck now and have for a while just like the Lakers.. Can't even sniff the playoffs like the Lakers these days..

Magic spoke out again against the Lakers yesterday. I'm starting to lose more respect for Magic every time he opens his mouth.

It's said Magic was a bully in the office when he was there which was hardly ever.. Seems to me Magic didn't do his job as GM more then anything else.. Biiitching and moaning now that it didn't work out. Playing the blame game..

listened to a few vids dont see what magic did wrong I see blame on jenny she had an agreement with magic about him not going to be there like a full time guy since he has a ton of other businesses where he gets paid a ton more she agreed to that, dumb on her part. so with his position he's supposed to be able to fire who he wants and wasnt allowed to, he wanted to fire walton and they had 3 meetings and he was going to be fired until the last meeting they backed off seems from lady rambis being in jenny's ear so they didnt fire luke, magic leaves and they still fire luke anyway 3 days later. lakers are a dumpster fire jenny and her bunch along with pelinka just arnt good we'll see if they can turn it around its the lakers so they should be able to do better eventually

seems like maybe it was both he definitely said the 150% part when he was hired whether that was warming up to jenny who knows but he said it maybe the situation changed later where it was agreed upon with the latter of not being there as much not sure about that only by what he said jenny so far has decided not to speak publicly so its pretty much one sided for now
