For some people gambling is a drug, they pay for their action to get their fix - its no different than paying for cigarettes or any other drug - they don't gamble to win, they gamble to feel a certain way.

Texts like that at critical moments make me never want to talk to the broad ever again.

For me....I thought I would be great at it because sports was my life growing up. I thought I had the inside edge because I played/watched it and “knew” it so much.

Turned out I was wrong and even though I had a hot streak here and there, I was by far more of a loser than a winner.

Luckily I was not addicted and could step away. I still love to gamble, but it’s on a limited basis and not with serious money.

gambling mind set. Yea i'm down 100,000 all time, but this time it will be different. This time I have a new strategy and how I'm going to win.....

BOOM deposit 500 and turn it into 4k and again in your mind you keep saying see I can do this, I can win. Withdraw $1500. See that's smart that's how you do it. Keep 2500 and you know you can turn 2500 into 10k.

BOOM....lose the 2500 b/c now you are back to betting stupid then you get your $1500 from the withdraw and deposit $1000 of it.

BOOM, lose that $1,000 in 3 hours and then sit there all depressed b/c you had money coming and money in account and you lost all of that.

Wait a few days knowing you can reload and reset your mind. I can do this, new strategy, let's not bet stupid, stick to strategy.
