Disappointed I never looked into these contests, figured another 100 pt prize thing.

The +EV on this is insane. Over 9000 betpoints, ~40 entries, 400 points. That’s 22500% ROI ignoring variance.

Definitely worth forking over the 20 betpoints it takes to play both the mens and womens bracket. Too bad I know jack about tennis but its fun to play anyway who knows I might get lucky one of these days like people do during March Madness.

Counting on Theim to take down Djoko is a big ask, but who knows! That said, definitely with you on Federer over Wawrinka. Most people picked Tsitsipas to beat Federer in that QF so as one of the few who picked Federer to make it to the Semis, that would be a huge boost for me if he manages to do that!

Woot Federer comes through, and I vault into first! Hope I can stay there or at least cash haha - after being in 1st in the March Madness pool (much harder obviously - many more entrants) after the first week, getting the Sweet 16 completely correct, was rather sad to see my bracket explode the second week and to wind up not even cashing! So no repeat on that please.

Luckily that should be pretty hard here as a good number of people behind me picked same Final/Winner as me meaning that they can't go ahead of me at this point. If Djoko wins it all which is the main danger for me (I picked Nadal), will definitely drop several places but hopefully still make the Top 10!

that said, he bounced Djoker last year and i don't see him beating djoker and then nadal..not sure he will get past djoker after beating him at the french last year I expect a little revenge tomorrow but would not bet much on it.

Well "flyer" is obviously relative - obviously he's a very good on clay, but picking him over both Djok + Nadal at start is still a bit hopeful! In general I guess I would call picking any future in any sport which is +500 or higher to be somewhat of a flyer.

Anyway, terminology aside, no question it's still a long-shot. Djoker has still not lost a single set the whole tourney - that's pretty freaking insane! And Nadal has also been extremely dominant - the big question will be who can carry that over when they play each other (which is obviously quite likely!).

Ok, is working now, maybe just needed time to update. But at least I can't fall out of the Top Ten no matter what! And in only one of eight scenarios do I not make Top Five, including two in which I get first (luckily one of those two being the clearly favored one by the odds!). So at least this type my midway first place standing won't be end with a totally embarrassing crash as it did in March Madness!
