    Comparing Greek Freak to Simmons

obviously a bit bitter from last nights game but I wonder how many teams shoot under 35% and still win. As I said earlier the Brett Brown factor was going to rear its ugly head as showed on those 3 straight possessions. You win a game 7 at home on a miracle 39th shot by Leonard? I can’t see Raps and Leonard sustaining. Bledsoe is a nice player as well and love the white kid on the team.

Stop the press. Milwaukee and golden state. It's a wrap. Golden state sweep in finals. It's clear as day. Place your wagers and get ready for a hot summer. Enjoy.

Again biased but really thought Philly better team. Everyone applauding Siakum and he played scared last night. Give Raps coach credit though. He made adjustments and out coached Brown. Congrats Rap fans.

The problem PHiladelphia had was Simmons was useless late in the game because he can't shoot, and Butler isn't a point guard, having him run the point didn't work, that has nothing to do with Brown. Either Simmons learns to shoot or he's traded, otherwise Philadelphia will never win anything. Point guards who can't shoot don't win in the playoffs- look at Westbrook, Rondo, Simmons.

Durant, A Davis and Zion are the near future in the NBA. It's in the making. If Booker can get onboard, omg.

Rondo got one title, Ron Harper 3 in a row. Jason Kidd Norris Cole. Avery Johnson, Tony Parker, Craig Claxton that is like half the titles a PG who couldn't shoot.

I guess Kidd could kind of shoot but only set shot 3's could not even shoot 20% on pull up jumpers to save his life.

Philly ownership totally denied the report but supposedly Brand wanted to trade Simmons this year. Spurs reportedly offered Leonard but Simmons or Embiid had to be part of the package. Wonder how they feel now

Its a different league now, and Parker was a very good mid-range shooter, Kidd was an excellent 3 point shooter at the end of his career when he won the title in Dallas.

Brown is gone. They won't keep him around. Playing two more games then last year isn't going to be accepted. Not saying it's his fault but that's just how the cookie crumbles.

The league is much more efficient now, analytics have played a huge role, you aren't going to win titles with point guards who can't shoot. The solution in Philadelphia is either Simmons learns to shoot or you trade him - getting rid of Brown does zero. There is no one to replace Brown with who is any better either other than arguably Jay Wright, and he probably isn't leaving Villanova.

Disagree, Philadelphia's starting 5 only played 10 games together in the regular season, and PHiladelphia was a much better team than last year, there has been progress with Brown every year. If Philly lost in 6 or got blownout in game 7 Brown likely is gone, I don't think their is a good case for him to be fired now - and no one to replace him either if Wright can't be had.

Shit Rondo has shot about 36% the last 4 years cheap shot at him thenI forgot Harper won like 5 titles. At least Westbrook shoots volume/bad 3's he is not the worst shooter.

Westbrook is one of the worst 3 point shooters in NBA history if you look at his shooting percentage amongst players who have shot that many 3's, its not even close. Rondo is the only point guard who got a title with his poor shooting and as I said its a different league now, shooting was nowhere near as important even 5 years ago, let alone 10-15 or more.

Wright be a fool to leave Nova. Made 2.6 mil last year before incentives & such. Supposedly UCLA offered him 5 mil a year & he said no.

Not that I care, Philadelphia would offer at least 5 years and 30 million to Wright looking at the market for coaches right now - he'd get a pay raise and he wouldn't have to move, Wrightly would likely get up to 6-7 million a year.

Wright has a great setup at Villanova, but Philadelphia is loaded with young talent, a pay raise and a better roster might be enough.
