Dick Tomey was a stellar CFB coach at Hawaii, then Arizona, then he even took hapless San Jose State to a DD win season!

All of us boxing fanatics know who Harold Lederman is.

Who will be the third prominent name in sports to leave us this weekend??

I didn't know about Dick Tomey. RIP.

One thing I can say about Tomey is that his players admired him. Star DT Rob Waldrop talked about how Tomey gave him a chance + then Rob took the ball and ran with it. Rob talked about Tomey playing a role in his development as a player.

    Long live Desert Swarm!

Fvkk Desert Swarm. Fvkk the UofA. Never seen a Rose Bowl. Never will.

But RIP Dick Tomey. He was a class act regardless of his poor choice of a coaching gig.

Jake Plummer still has nightmares about Desert Swarm. He wakes up in a cold sweat + thinks that Bruschi just drilled him AGAIN.

UofA/ASU baseball game. Not out of the realm of possibility for the head football coach of UofA to be there. Was still surprised by it.

Yup. I was right in front of that on the goal line when that went down. A few rows up.

Play action pass. Plummer to Poole. McCallister took a cheap shot after he caught it. Poole threw the ball up and said suck it.
