Do you guys think its better to just bet LIVE instead of pre-game?

on the site i play on draftkings- its listed under player props - 5 or 6 players on each team have odds to hit a homerun- the biggest most likely sluggers are at least +200 - most players at much higher odds

the biggest sluggers in the game hit a HR once every 4 games. +200 is horrible odds

pretty sure most books have home run odds
yes - the odds on the biggest sluggers are not great
but you still have to pick your spots

and the odds can be astronomical on the lesser players

look at the homers today by seattle, houston,

Early in the game live lines are soft. If you try to bet a live total from mid 3rd Q to mid 4th Q they’re razor sharp. They always land right on the number,

I'm a fan of live betting. Love it as you get opportunities you won't find pre-game. For instance Yankees are -250 pregame at home and are down 2-0 after an inning. After 5 innings Yankees down 5-1 but live betting offers Yankees +3.5 -110 and its time to bet. If you laid -250 pregame and are down 2 runs before you have an at bat your snookered. So I use live betting as a tool with heavy faves, on dogs I find its better to bet pregame so you can hedge or lock in a profit if they take the lead.

To be good at live betting you need to watch games every day. That being said a game can get away from you so fast that you can lose value and end up with an empty sack. But, let's say you bet a 100 a game pre game. Don't think you can use the same units live and probably should ladder in. But, take the 1st round of the NBA playoffs - most of the games just flat out sucked. If you missed the boad and got on the wrong side - you were just screwed.

Love live betting on college bb games with closely matched teams, where you can get a lot of back-and-forth on the moneyline and hedge each bet if you just wait a couple minutes. I've had games where I've placed 10 bets or more, just adding a little more to each side as the ML swings. Sometimes half the bets cancel out the other half, but sometimes you can get both teams at +500 or something crazy at different points in the game and come out winning big either way. And of course sometimes you place your first bet and are never able to completely cover it if the other team keeps pulling away. At worst, it's a good way to slow down the pace of losing, and at best you can get some great returns. Playing the 3-way on soccer can also be fun; tends to be a bit riskier, since the scoring is so sparse, but also tends to pay out a lot bigger when you do win.

then I will hop on to get the added points or runs.

You can get a better feel for the game that way if you know what you are looking for, then you can bet live and win. Tough early on to tell which way the games are going though most of the time.. The live lines reflect that and can suck you into sucker bets.

Gotta really know your teams and understand how they usually respond in games early on or late in games then you bet live.. Live betting in spots works for sure if you know what you are doing!!! All the time you'll probably get raped over time. Just my take...
