Massive mismatch with starting pitching yet basically a pickem.

Very tempted to go cinci first 5 with Castillo. Been the best pitcher in baseball so far.

Vargas much better pitcher at home. He was actually serviceable at Citi last year with 3.76 xFIP and 9.92 K/9. Reds poor hitting team. Maybe under 8

              Line makes no sense

              Reds should be -180

Castillo might have his best game of the season tonight.

im on the mets, i suspect trap line too.

                  majority of public on reds.

cincy is bottom five in AVG and OBP vs lefties
a bit better when looking at SLG + OPS but still bottom half in both.

                  bol!

**if your looking for an edge, given the info above.. reds 2h would be a decent play.
**you avoid the lefty and mets have 3rd worst bullpen era

Castillo is good but he is also a prime regression candidate. He has been extremely lucky with an unsustainable 90.2% strand rate and he is prone to control issues with 3.44 walks per 9. Yes his 3.29 xFIP is very good, but it is still over 2 runs higher than his 1.23 ERA so there are a few expected clunkers in his future.

With all of that said, I passed this game.
