I talk to the loser Cub fans all the time, they've just enough talent to think they can win, it's a total tease. They have no bullpen they will continue to be streaky with bats but ultimately, they are far too inconsistent to win, especially in the postseason. They got super lucky to beat Cleveland who was injured anyway; the Flubs were always a better story as total losers. I told them last year the window has closed. It was clear a long time ago.

Coming from a Cubs fan this isn't new. They've struggled with leaving runners on base all season. Seems like it was a problem last year too.
Cubs batting average with RISP this season = .240 (ranks 27th in the league). Their normal regular season batting average is .255 (ranks 11th).

I can’t bet on the Cubs anymore. Takes years off your life. That whole division is mind boggling.... stay away
