Online versus placing bets in Las Vegas or other states in US where its legal
How is it? Are the bookmakers in Las Vegas as sharp as bookmakers online eg. Pinnacle? Are they fast to to limit you? What about other states? Will Las Vegas bookmakers be offering odds to ice hockey world championship? Any advice appreciated.

I can only speak detailed on behalf on Finland. We have a government run bookmaker at Veikkaus.fi. In order to open an account you must physically live in Finland and also be a Finnish resident. However to place bets at Veikkaus in physical stores usually r-kioski (established kiosk which you can find everywhere) you don't have to be a Finnish resident. The good thing is that placing 4 figure bets on major leagues is not an issue. The bad thing is that odds are fairly sharp in particular in Finnish Liiga (hockey) but not necessarily on other market of lesser interest to them=small turnover markets.

      It's virtually the same.

The difference is when you play online you are betting on your team and you are gambling on getting paid or not.

They both have their up's and downs.

You save money on the flight playing online.

That dry air in Vegas always bothers me. I am used to humidity. Plus something about the casinos give me anxiety

For instance in UK I know that they have these bookmakers Ladbrokes, Coral, PaddyPower as physical shops where you jump in to place bets. You can realistically have a 5-10 % yield over long term. Impossible at Pinnacle. Problem would we to get big enough stakes accepted?! Too me this makes the whole difference. I am also not sure how fast they will limit bettors.

If I play at asians/Pin and make 100-102 % versus 105-110 % at soft bookmakers I am willing to fly to USA and book hotels for a few weeks. I am currently residing in England and it does not cost a fortune.

What these bookmakers do who cater to small players is offer lots of betting options when they have incomplete information. How can they offer odds for instance to ice hockey world championship at this point when all info has not been published...They dont adjust odds as fast as Pinnacle/asians when new info arrives because they dont have to take big bets at least online because they have limited all winning accounts.

Pinnacle would never offer odds this early in hockey WC. Will USA play with kids, average NHL players, monsters or be the biggest favourite in tournament if Matthews+Gaudreau and a few good D will join the crew. We dont know yet if its last or second last option yet bookies had them 11.0 (or 10/1) a few days ago.

I think dry air can be a big pain in the ass with all the AC. I guess 5 % of Yankees have chronic sinusitis and figure is similar in Finland. But all the booze and bitches make up some of it I guess.

LV follows offshore like lapdog and they will limit or boot you when they realize you know what you're doing.
