i understand your stance, just this late in the year, we can't over estimate the week rest against teams coming out of a 7 games series

and that canes series? 7 games, double OT, right back at it tomorrow after getting physically abused for the final 3 games of that series

Def a fair point about the canes. To be honest I didn’t think they would beat the caps so hell if I know..

several of these series gonna be the rest/rust vs teams who had grueling series w no time off. Early on could favor the teams who just got done w their series (a week plus off a lot!) then we see fatigue kick in as the series progresses. With a physical sport like hockey I’ll always say give my team the rest in the long haul it will pay off. Baseball I prefer my team keeps playing cause more about timing and not physical..

I’ll be on culumbus and Colorado in gm 1 but only cause they road dogs and fully expect them to get at least 1 road win, hope there no rust and they get the gm1s so I don’t have to chase gm 2!! Lol..
