Sure getting the last change on stoppages is a small advantage but end of the day rinks are all the same, crowd noise is overrated, all comes down to which goalie is on his game and which team controls the puck/creates most chances.
When I was out a dinner last night I went outside to have a smoke and someone was telling me blues actually stayed at a hotel when they came back from Dallas before gm7. Guess the coach had enough of getting a better effort on road so decided to try and mimic a road atmosphere!! Lol. Apparently it worked! Gm 7 was one of their best efforts at home these playoffs. I know it went into double ot but that was only cause bishop stood on his freaking head, we outplayed the shit out of Dallas majority of that game (54 shots on goal to Dallas 30!).. wonder if we will continue staying at hotels while in town this series? My only cause for concern is this the 1st time Bennington has looked truly shaky these playoffs. I was somewhat worried that might happen early on but now that he has few playoff series under his belt I assumed wouldn’t be any nerves.
