I have been applying and have two interviews coming up. I have slowed down though as I hate this area and am planning on driving and moving to TX as more finance jobs in energy there, no state income taxes, much more affordable house prices to get a mortgage. 500k minimum for an apartment here in the DC area, ridiculous and so is paying rent. Was going to begin the drive down Monday but with the insane flooding going on there, going to wait a week or two. Was going to self support myself on PLO games in Houston/Austin until I found a job, live in Airbnb, but the Texas cops just shut down Houston rooms sadly.
