I won $1,550 bucks on a $15 bet. They sent me the check which was drawn on a canadian trust and none of my banks or national banks here would accept it. Which is what their suggestion was after my credit union called at week after I deposited it saying they couldn't cash it. First they told me don't write anything on the check then they told me to write void across the back of the check and send them a picture. I called they said it's a 24 to 48 hours to process, 2 days later I called and they said that I needed a to send a image of the front of the check with void written on it, I did it. This whole process started on the 20th of March. this morning I got another email saying they needed another check image with void written across the front of it. Do Not Patronize

#2Small local banks will not accept the check due to the costs of retrieving the money that they cannot in turn charge to you. You go to BkofAma or another large bank, it will get accepted and cash in your account next day. If you don't want checks, start requesting bitcoin.Comment -

#7Originally posted by pilebuck13I took same check from them to BkofAma for 4K took 2 weeks and lady harassed me it was fake lol
Capital one, the bank that was on campus in college, would charge me a strange processing fee that varied anywhere from $5 to $10 like $7.76, strange. Took 3-4 weeks with them but never an issue with the funds clearing.
Never understood why they try telling you its fake, had that happen once too. Process the check, if it bounces, charge me the $35 fee. Its not like your bank is at risk at all since the funds are not added right away.Comment -

#8Originally posted by eaglesfan371Ah guess times have changed. Last time I had one, 3-4 years ago, was a check from bank of montreal, a top Canadian bank and was surprised when BkofAma added funds next day.

#9I get checks all the time from Bodog/Bovada and they are usually from RBC. RBC is not a small bank and has US branches and affiliates. The issue is with your Credit Union, not with Bovada. C'mon.Comment -

#15I also use EFT and it is reliable. Limit is $4k a week so sometimes you have to break up withdrawals but you still get it.Comment -
