bullpen is a factor in damn near every game these days, starters don't go nearly as long.

Not that I care but if you're up 3-1 in the 7th you should win the game, Padres won by a bad beat.

That the most ridiculous thing i ever heard. They play 9 innings pal, having a small lead in 7th ensures nothing, means nothing, and losing it wasn’t a bad beat.
Cards manager made several bad decisions and cards deserved to lose because of them, i was on them too (got 1st 5 at least). It insane to say that was a bad beat, cards had chances to increase that lead but failed.
By your logic anytime a lead changes it a bad beat! Should they stop the game and declare you the winner if your side gets lead? A team isn’t any less likely to score in 7th-8th-9th the the early innings. This idea if a team has small lead in 7th the game over is new to those of us that watch the sport. Maybe they should stop playing last 4 minutes of basketball games too!

Not that I care but when a team is up 3-1 in the 7th inning they in most cases are 75-80% to win the game, that's a bad beat.
