But the playoffs are a different animal and the Lightning did not show up this year. Think they thought this series would be easy and are getting punched in the mouth.

That “taking team lightly” thought is understandable to start series but after getting it taken to them at home for 2 games they surely not taking Columbus lightly any longer, they just getting outplayed in every facet of the game. Really the only series that hasn’t been close, this been a butt kicking. And I took Tampa gm3 thinking they would make a series out of it, not happening.

Colombus was probably the 3rd best team in the East, they just played like shit early in the year, and the team is the kind of big physical team that is built for playoff hockey, they were very close to beating Washington last year, and lost to PIttsburgh the year before, both teams won the Stanley Cup the year Colombus lost to them. Tampa Bay probably would have rolled Carolina, the 7th seed, they just hit a hot team.
