If you actually watch Wilson play you'll see Seattle's success has been with read option, he can't beat you from the pocket without a running game used in read option, Seattle's offense was garbage early in the year this past year when they went away from read option.

Paying the QB isn't translating into wins. Most of the teams that won their division last year have QBs on a bargin/rookie contract compared to the top paid QBs. Ex. Ravens, Texans, Chiefs, Cowboys, Bears, Rams. Having QBs under a realistic contract gives a team the ablity to put talent around the QB. Why do you think the Packers can't win another Super Bowl with one the best QBs in the history of the NFL? Paying Rodgers didn't translate to another Super Bowl.

Wilson can make any demand he wants, but he is not getting Jack Squat. They will franchise him for the 2020 season. So Wilson is playing in Seattle for at least two more years. It may take that long to get the ownership problems in Seattle straightened out.
