I always dream about being that lucky 1 hitting 10,000

That was one of the most interesting things, and maddening, and sad, about me hitting the $18K at Talking Stick, AZ, was that my wife was the one who always dreamed of the big $10,000+ slot win, and despite everyone around me being happy about my win (see video below, where i'm getting my "new friends" I made immediately after the win beers and tippin' the waitress who was bringin' em $20 bucks a round while waiting on my hand pay, and waiting for my wife) -- but when my wife shows up (already been drinkin' plenty), she's actuallly PISSED OFF that I got the win instead of her.....

wife was still pissed at me after i "only" peeled her off $2k on the spot of the hand pay......

never dreamed winning $18K on a slot machine would turn out so bad..... she wouldn't even give up the back door that night.....

haha, seeing that louisianna avvy and reading that quick hit win reminds me of my own quit hit win at L'Auberge in Lake Charles, middle machine on the old-style reels quick hit, hit 8 of em by stoppin' the reels short for $3400 and change ($3 max bet, which quals you for the progressive payouts).....;

Hit for $2600 on Bovada slots on line one time.. That was a few years back.. I think I started playing a $1 a pull, then won some money, then tried pulling $10 a pop and hit something massive.. Was a good night.. I quit after that.. I was like - that's a nice win..

Years ago when I was living with my folks I had $2000 on Party Poker....Had ground it up to $2000 just from grinding SnG's... not sure why but i ventured over to the casino which I never do... started playing some Tutankhamen slot at like $40 spin or something ridiculous.. hit a $7000 jackpot, kept playing and hit another $1750... Had my account up to ~11K...this is at like 3am.. I hear my pops upstairs walking around, I call him downstairs to tell him i just won 9K at an online slot machine.. he's happy but also disgusted i'm playing a game that's not beatable when he knew i was capable of winning at poker... He tells me I dont want to go back to bed because I have this sick feeling you're gonna keep playing and give it back to them... I say nope i'm done... Sure enough that night I gave every penny back right back to my original 2K... I cashed out the 2K because I certainly would have lost that too... Haven't touched a slot machine since.. I think about that night often and it makes me want to vomit each time.

ouch.... did that same type thing on an asian theme game at aria one night, but only up to 2k on 200 buyin,,,,
